These BMW Designers Made a Hover Bike Out of LEGO and Turned It Into a Life-Size Replica

It all started last year when LEGO and BMW teamed up to release a replica LEGO version of the popular BMW R 1200 GS Adventure motorcycle.
To take the collaboration one step further, the two design teams created a conceptual hover bike using the same pieces found in the 603-piece, standard bike set. Check out the two ‘versions’ below made from the same LEGO kit:

That’s when BMW decided to take things even further, challenging design students from the BMW Junior Company to create a life-size replica of the BMW Hover Bike concept.
The one-off model was showcased at LEGO World in Copenhagen last month and can now be found at its permanent home at BMW Welt in Munich.
